recycle4planet.png According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, an estimated 14.3 million tons of textiles were generated in 2012, but the recovery rate for all textiles was only 15.7% that year. Still, nearly all clothes and shoes can be reused or repurposed in some way, so Planet Aid is helping individuals, schools, teams, clubs and other organizations recycle their clothing and shoes in honor of America Recycles Day.
