April Stearns is a writer based in Santa Cruz, CA. She is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz with a B.A. in creative writing.
Aside from her studies, April is the Arts & Entertainment Editor at UCSC's student-run newspaper, City on a Hill Press, and she has published articles on cityonahillpress.com. She also works as a writing tutor with the university for incoming freshmen who have not passed the college writing exam.
April's passion for writing extends beyond fiction and arts events to community projects that aim to better the environment and work toward sustainability and stronger community bonds.
